EARLY CAREER EDITORIAL BOARD
Starting in 2020, the ASCE-ASME Journal of Risk and Uncertainty in Engineering Systems in its two parts has implemented the Early Career Editorial Board (ECEB) program to bring young members onboard its editorial board under the mentorship of the journal leadership.
ECEB members typically have a net academic age of 1-3 years. The term of an ECEB member is 2 years with the possibility for renewal into a second term.
New Cycle of the ASCE Journals’ Early Career Editorial Board The goal of the journal is to further welcome two to four ECEB members on the editorial board. Potential candidates are required to have at least six publications within the last 5 years, which may include their Ph.D. study dissertation. The submission deadline is May 31, 2025. Applications will be reviewed by an ad hoc committee from the journal leadership. Applicants will be informed about the decision by end of June 2025.
