The impact factors for our journal show a robust consolidation at 2.3 for Part A and at 1.8 for Part B. This result is matching the average impact factors of journals in the respective areas, while the ranking is in Q2 for both parts. Based on the increased number of submissions in both parts, and running a number of Special Issues and Special Collections on emerging topics, we can expect a positive trajectory of this figure for the future. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the entire team of authors, reviewers, and editors for their outstanding high-quality work, based on which this has been achieved. It’s my great pleasure to report that we have received approval from ASCE to initiate fundraising towards the endowment of our best paper awards and their elevation to the “Bilal M. Ayyub Research Award for Risk and Uncertainty in Engineering Systems” as an ASCE Society Award. This is a major step for us fostering our award in a self-sustainable manner. The campaign to raise sufficient funds for the award endowment has started, and we look forward to donations from the community. A donation towards the award endowment, no matter at which magnitude, would be a great appreciation of the leadership that our Founding Editor, Professor Bilal M. Ayyub, has provided for us establishing this fantastic forum of the journal for promotion and exchange of our research. For any intention to make a donation, please contact me directly. Your contribution would be highly appreciated. Please spread this call for donations further into the community and to relevant contacts. Any single Dollar would be a great personal expression of appreciation for the pioneer of our journal.
